The International 10 Breaks the Record as the Esports Tournament with the Largest Prizes
The International (TI) is the biggest esports tournament of MOBA games Dota 2. Since 2010, TI has always offered huge prize pools for the best teams. Since the introduction of the Battle Pass as a way to support the prizes given, the total TI prizes have always been increasing. Entering its 10th year, TI has again broken the record for the largest total prize pool offered by esports tournaments.
As of this writing, TI10 has managed to raise funds of more than USD 34 million or around IDR 498 billion more. This figure has also exceeded the number offered by the TI tournament last year. Seeing the Battle Pass 2021 expiration date in September, of course the numbers obtained this year will continue to increase. Although the prizes offered are very tempting for gamers, especially professional players and teams Dota 2, the TI10 tournament had to be postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
