Success in Secret, this is the reason MATUMBAMAN leaves Team Liquid Dota 2
Team Secret is known as one of the teams Dota 2 with the strongest professional roster globally. Previously, they had won the OGA Dota PIT Season 3, and made history as a team that won eight consecutive wins.
One of the reasons for Secret’s phenomenal performance in every tournament is the carry roster of Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMA” Urpalainen. MATUMBAMAN is a professional player from Finland who played for Team Liquid from October 2015 to June 2019.
Prior to entering The International 2019 (TI9), he was replaced by Alivi “W3” Omar. Four years with the esports organization, and MATUMBAMAN was thrown away. Since then, MATUMBAMAN moved to Secret and joined the team Dota 2 Chaos Esports where He showed extraordinary cary skills. He is also one of the most loved roster by fans because of his humble nature.
In an interview with ESL One Germany, MATUMBAMAN shared a little insight into his success in his current position.
“In my opinion, we must achieve whatever target we have set for ourselves,” said MATUMBAMAN. “I myself feel unmotivated and a bit trapped while playing at LIquid. This could be the end of my career after TI9. Luckily, Team Secret gave me a second chance, and I really appreciate it.”

MATUMBAMAN also explained that the coach, Lee “Heen” Seung Gon, has helped a lot since his arrival at Team Secret.
In the interview, MATUMBUMAN was also asked about one of his favorite heroes, Drow Ranger. Is it because this hero is damaged or is there another reason why he often chooses it?
“I’m definitely not the best Drow Ranger player. This hero is very easy to play. Just click Multishot then right click. That’s my role. As for the damage, I don’t know. The best heroes change from week to week. The main strategy is execution and this has proven to be successful for us. So why not.”
