Ninjala is a multiplayer video game title from developer GungHo Online Entertainment that was released on Nintendo Switch. this game released on June 24, 2021, and successfully downloaded one million times in just 24 hours. Ninjala has many characters who are all descendants of Ninja.

All characters in Ninjala have powers that can only be unlocked through the use of Ninja-gum. There are about eight characters that you can use with their respective strengths and personalities. Curious what the eight characters are? Here’s the list below.

List of All Ninjala Characters

1. Berecca

As one of the researchers who created Ninja-Gum, Berecca worked alongside Burton and Ron. His own ninja powers were unlocked when he tested an early prototype, which had the side effect of turning him into a child. He had entered the Ninjala tournament in hopes of finding a way to reverse the process.

2. Burton

As Berecca’s colleague, Burton is also transformed into a child through the consumption of the Ninja-Gum prototype. Optimistic and energetic, he is actually a descendant legendary ninja Hattori Hanzo. He had entered the Ninjala tournament with the same goal as Berecca.

3. Ron

Even though he is the third member of Ninja-Gum . research team, Ron betrayed the others after they ate the prototype gum. He attacks Burton in their lab, revealing that he was actually there to witness Gum’s true power. However, he was defeated by Burton Ippon Katana before he could kill his former comrade.

4. Emma

Known as a dancing ninja, Emma has attracted fans from all over the world with her acrobatic style. He develops his skills as a vigilante hero to protect the streets of his hometown. It was this reputation of heroism that got him invited to Ninjala.

5. Jane

An expert hacker employed by World Ninja Association. Jane uses her skills to spy on the development of Ninja-Gum. Unfortunately, his sweet tooth betrays him when he infiltrates the lab. Because the candy he ate turned out to be Ninja-Gum itself.

6. Kappei

As one of the few characters who knew about their previous ninja heritage, Kappei was trained for years in swordsmanship. He is also accompanied by Gumchi, an extraterrestrial whose family has been protecting for centuries. Kappei enters Ninjala in search of his grandfather’s brother.

7. Lucy

Following a traumatic event in her past, Lucy hides herself and her talents from the world for many years. Until finally Lucy’s mother asked her to join Foreigner Training School who dared to show his abilities. Now Lucy is recognized as one of the most cheerful and charismatic ninjas out there, and Lucy is once again following her mother’s advice to enter Ninjala.

8. Van

A friendly and athletic boy. Van’s strong spirit has helped him through the tough times in the past. He first discovered his ninja heritage while escaping the fire that destroyed his father’s house. Now his competitive spirit has brought him into Ninjala.
