The Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Finally Shows New Gameplay!

After several years of hiatus after it was officially announced, Nintendo fans around the world have finally been shown again with the appearance of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game has so far not received an official title, but the new trailer shown brings a variety of interesting details including the appearance of the gameplay, most of which are still similar to the first game.

Some of the new details that caught our attention the most were the addition of gameplay mechanics that depended on the special abilities of Link’s hands. From the trailer we can see that Link’s right hand looks like a prosthetic that can issue special abilities such as the function of the Magnesia tool. The open-world map he shows is still pretty much the same as in the first game, including types of enemies like Bokoblin that are still there but with slightly different variations.

Another interesting detail we see from this trailer is the exploration side of the highlands or the various architectures that float above the clouds. Not to forget that Link in this game looks to have a different design, such as how his long hair is no longer in a ponytail and seems to show a more “wild” side of his character.

The new trailer of the game also provides certainty of a release schedule that falls in 2022. As usual, this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will only be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
