The Wait Is Over, NieR: Automata Steam Version Will Finally Get The Repair Patch!

Starting from the successor to the original Nier series which was less popular in its time, who would have thought that NieR: Automata would end up as one of Square Enix’s most successful games in the last decade. It’s no secret that the game received a very positive reception from many critics and players, but not a few still have complaints about its poor optimization on the PC platform.

In order to answer the request of fans who have been waiting for improvements for years, Square Enix finally officially announced that they are developing a new upgrade patch specifically for the game version in Steam. This may be a response from Square Enix because they had released the latest PC version of NieR: Automata via the Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Pass, which according to reports is a port with better quality and less problems.

Further details haven’t been announced yet, but at least players have got a guarantee for the long-awaited fix.

Still talking about NieR, coincidentally the remaster/soft-remake version of the original game NieR Replicant will be released next week. The game received a fairly positive reception from many media, including Famitsu who just scored 8/9/9/8 [34/40]. We also happened to get access to play the game early and have compiled a preview article for you to check out HERE.
