PUBG Mobile China Version Gets Cool Collaboration with Gundam SEED

The popularity of PUBG Mobile as the most dominating battle royale game on the mobile platform has brought many interesting surprises over the past few years. Whether it’s through major updates or collaborations, players feel like they’re constantly being pampered with endless fun that keeps the game busy. Game for Peace which is the release of the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile is also no less interesting, because this game is planned to bring a collaboration event which is arguably the coolest so far.

As a celebration of its 2nd anniversary, Game for Peace announced a collaboration with the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series. This announcement immediately attracted a lot of attention from players, especially Gundam fans who were curious about the implementation of Gundam in a battle royale game.

From the information shared there will be a giant Gundam replica built on the spawn island of Erangel. Screenshot uploaded by Twitter user hesketh2 shows an empty base that is slowly starting to be filled with mecha parts similar to the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam unit. The details of the content of the collaboration have not been shared yet, but the development of the mecha could be implemented into gameplay where players can even ride Gundams to battle (just a prediction).

Game for Peace itself happened to also have prepared a new game mode similar to Among Us. We didn’t follow the news at the time, including whether the mode was already in the game or still in the preparation stage. With the presence of collaborations to this very interesting game mode, hopefully the global version of PUBG Mobile can also have content coming in the future.
