Viktor 'GeneRaL' Nigrini hits 10k MMR in Dota 2

Achieving 10k MMR in Dota 2 is almost impossible. However, with great effort, GeneRaL managed to reach 10k status and proved himself worthy of being the best Dota 2 player!

Who doesn’t know GeneRal? Yes, he used to be one of the former offlaner players that fans were proud of in his time. In fact, GeneRal once fought with NaVi to win several matches on an international scale. The performance given by GeneRal was not arbitrary, in fact he was even recognized by several professional players for his game.

Viktor accepted an invitation from Natus Vincere, the Ukrainian Dota 2 organization, in early 2016 and had to change his position in his game from midlaner to offlaner. GeneRaL plays quite aggressively in the offflane position, even his performance often makes his opponent players confused and afraid due to his aggressive game.

However, as time goes by, the performance shown by GeneRal is gradually decreasing. With the decline in the performance that GeneRal gave, there is no possibility that his name is also easily forgotten by fans of the Dota 2 game, he is not as successful as he used to be that NaVi fans were proud of. Even now, the GeneRal name has returned to the world of esports.

In his tweet on Twitter, GeneRal replied that there were 10,000 matches he played on his main account and 6000 matches on other accounts that he had played so far to reach 10,000 MMR. Now General is the 31st professional player to have hit 10k MMR.

After a long time, this legendary player who once fought with NaVi finally managed to reach 10,000 MMR. This achievement is certainly very special, GeneRaL has finally shown that he has proven that he is currently able to compete in the competitive world of Dota 2 as in the past.

Of course it is not an easy matter for GeneRal to make professional players recognize his prowess. Before he occupied the 10k MMR nickname, there were already those who preceded him, such as, MidOne, Miracle, Inyourdream, Arteezy, Abed, w33, Ramzez, and others.

Will GeneRal get its former image again with its current performance? Who knows ?
