Xbox Series X Can Play Thousands of Games From the Xbox Console Line

It seems that the heyday of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is coming to an end in the near future. The reason is, Sony and Microsoft have provided a lot of information about the emergence of the next generation, namely: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Amount developer has prepared various titles games which can be played the second time gaming console launched to the market. But apart from that, console Microsoft’s latest is said to be able to play games of the third console previously!

The news was revealed by Jason Ronald as director of program management for Xbox Series X, and delivered via Xbox Wire. Ronald stated that upon release, console Microsoft’s new generation has backward compatibility with Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Later, thousands of titles from the three gaming console can be played directly “without the need” boost mode, or downclocking.”

Ronald added that all the titles of the three console will run at its best, even higher, performance on Series X. Not only has the graphics quality better, the gameplay feels smoother thanks to the frame rate which is more stable. In fact, passing high-dynamic-range imaging reconstruction technique owned by Series X, automatically games it will get HDR support!

This is certainly good news for gamer, because they can play various games legacy owned in addition to the new titles. Moreover, the PlayStation 5 as a competitor to the Xbox Series X only presents backward compatibility with games from PS4 only.

According to the info, the Series X is said to be able to run older titles both on CD and digitally. Unfortunately, it is not explained whether in the future, the number of games supported by this feature backward compatibility will increase or not.
