Adult Game "Subverse" Becomes Top Seller on Steam

Subverse, an adult game developed by FOW Studio recently managed to place itself in the Top Seller section on the Steam platform. Interestingly, this achievement was obtained by Subverse, which was just released a few days ago.

For your information, FOW had canceled Early Access from Subverse on Steam. The reason, single-player mode and sotry-driven RPG is not suitable for this game. Early Access itself is usually used by FPS and MMO games.

Not only that, the developer said that there was a difference in vision that made it difficult for them to do early access some time ago. This forced them to postpone it for almost a year.

Their advice, along with our new engineers, led us to decide to re-audit the game’s release strategy. So we concluded that Early Access would not be suitable for the Subverse.

Subverse Becomes Top Seller

Interestingly, Subverse managed to beat several games like It Takes Two on the Top Seller page on Steam. In fact, popular games like Valheim and CS:GO are also under the Subverse.

Furthermore, the success of the game cannot be separated from the fact that FOW Studio managed to raise funding of Rp. 18 billion. So, players certainly hope that this game can meet fan expectations.

For now, Subverse can still maintain their position in the Top Seller. However, will this last long enough? Well, the developers will obviously continue to share content that if they can maintain the existence of this game.
