Beat EnVyUs, Misfits Champion ELEAGUE Overwatch Open
The Overwatch champion was claimed by the European blue continent, in the grand final of the ELEAGUE Overwatch Open the Misfits team managed to beat EnVyUs with a score of 3-1. Before the championship started, many people doubted that the Misfits team could talk much in the ELEAGUE Overwatch Open tournament.
Not long ago the Misfits had to lose two players, so they competed with an unstable team condition. His 2 substitutes only had 3 weeks before the championship to adapt. But the results on the field say otherwise, the Misfits performed very well in this championship.
The Misfits escaped from the group stage with a 2-0-1 win record, in the semifinals they managed to get rid of Ninjas in Pajamas with a score of 3-1 and in the final round they defeated the Overwatch Atlantic Showdown champion Rogue with a score of 3-2. Meanwhile
team EnVyUs dominated in the group stage by defeating Team Liquid and Splyce.
Furthermore, the EnVyUs team eliminated Cloud 9 and Fnatic with a score of 3-1 each. In the grand final, Misfits won on the King’s Row, Watchpoint: Gibraltar, and Lijiang Tower maps. Winning the Misfits team won the grand prize money of $100,000, while EnVyUs only got $32,000.
