Henrik 'AdmiralBulldog' Ahnberg Forced To Return To Sweden Due To Visa Problems
One of the talents that Valve has prepared for The International 7 event, Henrik “Admiral Bulldog” Ahnberg, will not be attending the event due to visa problems that befell him.
Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg has been prepared by Valve to be part of the English broadcasting team for The International 7. Actually, today AdmiralBulldog has arrived at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, but he was forced to fly back to Sweden due to visa problems.
It turned out that AdmiralBulldog only had a holiday visa or a B1/B2 visa in the United States, while because the activity he was doing later was for work, the visa was not suitable and the United States immigration authorities had to fly former Alliance team players back to Sweden.
AdmiralBulldog stated that Valve informed him that he only had a B1/B2 visa to be able to attend The International event. However, this was denied by the immigration authorities who stated that at least a work visa was required for foreigners because that was the rule. The immigration party also urges Valve to coordinate with immigration authorities in organizing The International, which brings many foreigners to the United States.
It is unfortunate that AdmiralBulldog could not attend The International 7 event, even though he was one of the winners of this event in 2013 along with the Alliance team. He was supposed to be working with Joakim “Akke” Akterhall who was his teammate in Alliance when he won TI 3 to broadcast the Dota 2 match later.
