First Time in Dota 2 History, Team Na'Vi And Dendi Not Appearing At The International
It seems that the Na’Vi team’s slump is increasingly visible this year. This is the first time in 7 years that the first The International champion along with the iconic midlaner in Dota 2, Dendi, will not be joining The International 7.
The Na’Vi team must qualify for the CIS Regional along with 9 other teams. On the first day they did not play optimally and only won 2 games out of 4 matches. But on the second day they were able to bounce back and were able to wipe out 3 matches without losing.
Unfortunately in the last 2 matches against Team Spirit and Team Vega Squadron, the Na’Vi team had to lose and made them fall from the top 4 positions. That way they can’t get into the play-off round and have to lose the opportunity to compete at The International 7. This is the first time that The International will not be attended by the Na’Vi and Dendi teams who are very famous for Hero Pudge.
The top 4 teams in the CIS region, namely the Empire team, the M19 team, the Spirit team, and the Vega Squadron team all scored 7-2 which makes the play-off round seem to be very fierce considering that there is only 1 spot for the CIS region at The International 7.
Who do you think will qualify for The International 7?
