Hype New Meta Aldous at MSC 2021!
There is something interesting in this MSC event. Team Blacklist from the Philippines uses a new meta, namely Hyper Aldous as a Hard Carry. Hero signature from Youtuber Markocop this is a serious discussion at MSC. How can this Meta work in the land of dawn?
In the Blacklist International vs Bigetron Alpha match, Aldous reappeared in the Land of Dawn, it was not an ideal pick plus this hero has never been a pick subscriber in MPL, but this was proven by the Blacklist team being able to win over Bigetron Alpha with the hero Aldous.
In the early game, Aldous can’t do much, but with the first skill “Soul Steal”, Aldous can clear the jungle quickly if there is no interference, Aldous’s first skill gives Physical Damage which is quite painful. Especially if Aldous manages to do a last hit either to jungle creeps, towers, minions, or when killing enemy heroes, Aldous will get a stack and it will continue to grow which of course will increase the damage plus if taken to the late game then Aldous will be even stronger as long as it is not hit enemy CC skills, plus Aldous has the Explosion skill, by using this skill, Aldous will get a shield + movement speed for 2 seconds, if in 2 seconds Aldous manages to approach the enemy, the shield will explode and give a stun effect for 0.5 seconds.

For finishing Aldous has the ultimate skill (Chase Fate), by using this skill Aldous can lock the target and open the vision map, so that the advantage for teammates can find out where the enemy is. If Aldous is sure that he can kill enemies in the targeted area, especially enemies in a dying condition (low hp), when exposed to the ultimate skill Aldous will experience an immobilized condition for 1 second, then in a combo with skill 2, the enemy will be stunned again. So you can imagine how the enemy’s condition was when farming and then locked by Aldous, still you can’t just enter or lock the target, especially the opponent faced is a Mage who can poke damage, such as Kagura, Nana, and others, so from it requires the selection of the right items when dealing with certain enemies. With the ability to open vision (the entire area will be bright), then skill damage that hurts, especially if Aldous can do a free hit, this hero does have interesting potential to be used in the current meta.
With the Aldous meta used by the Blacklist team, Aldous still needs qualified support, therefore when dealing with the Bigetron Alpha team, 2 supports were immediately secured by the Blacklist team, namely Estes and Rafaela, with unlimited heal from Estes plus heal skills + movement speed from Rafaela, immediately made the Bigetron team very careful, Wise from the Blacklist team indeed only got 2 kills but that’s not the benchmark in the game, but good teamwork and compact in the land of dawn.
It’s interesting to wait whether the team from Indonesia EVOS Legends and Bigetron Alpha will use the meta used by the Blacklist International team?
