NaVi announced its new Dota 2 line-up for the upcoming tournament!

On September 22, 2020, Na’Vi announced that they had formed a partnership with FlyToMoon. Through this collaboration, they formed a new roster that was acquired directly from FTM. In addition, this is a good opportunity for FTM to conduct a trial in the upcoming tournament, namely OGA Dota PIT Season 3 (23-26 Sep 2020) and ESL One Germany 2020 (5 Oct – 1 Nov 2020).

FlyToMoon is a team that does not have a sponsor and has earned more than $ 170,000 and has a title Parimatch League Season 2 and Maincast Winter Brawl, as well as first place in the divine division of the OMEGA League.

The COO of Na’Vi, Aleksey “xaoc” Kucherov, gives a quote regarding the acquisition of the FTM squad,

“FTM have been playing together for a long time without the contractual obligations, salaries and other benefits of the dota sphere, but they have managed to maintain a high level of discipline within the team. They showed good results in many tournaments this year because of the well-established training process. This is what CIS-dota lacks, where many professional players are looking for ways to play with friends or join them on their first call. Sooner or later all teams face problems, and it’s important to be able to find the strength to deal with them rather than run away. Today we are excited to start our partnership with FlyToMoon and we will do our best to excite our fans with the team’s performance. “

  • Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan

  • Sergey “AnahRoniX” Bykovsky (manager)

This announcement comes just two days after FTM picked up RodjER officially and qualified for the event OGA Dota PIT Season 3: EU/CIS which will start on September 23. This is the first tournament where Na’Vi can see the action of the players competing under its flag.

Of course, the biggest question is whether this new roster can bring the Na’Vi name back to how it used to be? Especially considering that FTM has shown a lot of amazing performances this year.
