The success and popularity that Rocket League has gained has earned them the attention of Epic Games. Not wanting to waste this opportunity, Epic Games is reported to have acquired a developer from the United States, namely Psyonix.

This news was finally confirmed by Psyonix via announcement they were about Rocket League leaving Steam and moving to the Epic Games Store. This makes Rocket League an exclusive game on EGS. In addition to being an exclusive game, this game will turn into a free to play game.

Although there is no clearer information about when this free to play will start, what is certain is that Rocket League games will no longer be accessible on Steam.

But for those of you who already have the Rocket League game from Steam, you can still play this game on Steam, Gaess. Even Psyonix will share Legacy status to all DLC released before Free to play with the title Est.20XX. Or the year you first played this Rocket League game.
