MAGGI HOT CUP becomes Official Sponsor of Professional League League of Legends: Wild Rift Malaysia

MAGGI HOT CUP Very excited to announce the award ESL Mobile Open by presenting League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA ICON Series Malaysia Summer and Fall 2021. SEA ICON Series is the first Wild Rift championship published by Riot Games Southeast Asia in this region and the Malaysian national league are also controlled by ESL Malaysia.

League of Legends: Wild Rift is a new mobile game from Riot Games. It is based on the original game League of Legends, one of the most popular PC games and is now the most watched e-sports game. Wild Rift has launched in Southeast Asia, North America and Europe. The game will also be launched in several more regions in the future. To date, Wild Rift has achieved more than 32 million downloads since it launched in October 2021.

MAGGI® is also pleased to announce MAGGI® HOT CUP® Tournament will return this year for a third season. This community match was received positively by the Malaysian e-sports community last year and this year also, the game that is highlighted is League of Legends: Wild Rift which is increasingly popular in this country.

Interested players may register for free to participate in the qualifying round of this community competition which will be held on the following dates:

MAGGI® HOT CUP® #1 Qualifier – May 21 to May 22, 2021
MAGGI® HOT CUP® #2 Qualifier – May 28 to May 29, 2021

The winner of each qualifying round will receive gifts cash rm500 and the opportunity to play in Influencer Showdown where are the famous gaming influencers Fattahzie and Biu Biu will compete. The Influencer Showdown will last for ESL Mobile Open Playoffs present Wild Rift SEA ICON Series Malaysia Summer on 5 and 6 Jun 2021. The best team in Malaysia will be crowned in this championship.

MAGGI® HOT CUP® will join hands with ESL Malaysia to hold Caster Search to highlight new talents in the Wild Rift community. Wild Rift fans who want to prove their skills as game reviewers are encouraged to take this opportunity and join Caster Search which will begin on May 8, 2021. Those selected will review the live broadcast of the MAGGI® HOT CUP® Community Tournament which will take place throughout 2021.
