Malaysian E-Sports Organization Forms Overwatch Team With All Female Team Members

Malaysian E-Sports organization M8 Gaming will have announced a roster for their Overwatch game that will be catered for by female gamers. So they will have 2 teams namely the male and female teams.

The name of the Women’s Overwatch team from the M8 Gaming organization will later be named M8 Tempest. This rarely happens in the world of E-Sports where all team members are women. Demographically, games are almost dominated by men when faced with the level of competition, both amateur and professional.

In South Korea, there is only 1 female pro player for the game Overwatch. He is Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon who plays for the ROX Orcas team. Now Malaysia is trying to raise the bar by putting together an all-female team.

In this way, it is hoped that female gamers who usually play just for fun can see that there is a female team that competes professionally and makes them motivated to participate in the competition level from the beginning just playing for fun.
