Microsoft Flight Simulator Update Adds ‘Japan World’ – Microsoft added Japan in its first update. Here are the details!

Microsoft Flight Simulator comes as a very impressive airplane simulator game with real world locations. Many players are amazed by the visual appearance shown by this game. Microsoft Flight Simulator has as many as 37,000 airports from around the world.

This week, the Microsoft Simulator game will have its first update. This Microsoft Simulator update will feature ‘Japan World’ which will be officially added on September 29, 2021.

This update will use a new ‘digital elevation map’ to enhance the overall in-game world. According to Microsoft, Japan World will present the buildings, nature and culture of Japan’s pride. Such as Mount Fuji, Himeji Castle, and Tokyo Skytree which will be very beautiful when viewed from the air.

Additionally, this update will feature certain locations in Japan that have received an extra makeover. The additional locations are:

Sendai
Takamatsu
Tokushima
Tokyo
Utsunomiya
Yokohama

The six locations or cities have received 3D photogrammetry enhancements along with six airports across Japan that have been beautified.

Most likely this Microsoft Flight Simulator update will open the door for modders to develop a number of mods inspired by Japan World. Some players hope that in the future there will be a Godzilla mod and a giant Gundam present to decorate Japan World.
