With the aim of promoting the #workfromhome and #stayathome campaigns, Ligagame is supported by the Indonesian Esports Association (IESPA), as well as AAC Thermoblock and Yamisok will launch their newest Community Cup Tournament series with the Mobile Legends game.

The Ligagame Community Cup aims to increase awareness of the importance of the #stayathome campaign, due to the increasing outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We from Ligagame certainly want to promote a campaign for #stayathome. It would be nice if gamers could quarantine themselves at home, attend school holidays and online courses implemented by universities in Indonesia. Our Community Cup this year, of course, wants to meet the needs of gamers who still have to hang out with their friends and play games together online,” said CEO of Ligagame Esports, Eddy Lim.

“Obviously we want this movement to be of good use to gamers, so that they can contribute to suppressing the COVID-19 outbreak that is currently rife in Indonesia,” added Eddy Lim.

“Greetings SBG, As the General Chair of the National FORMI I am amazed by the enthusiasm of gamers in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak to continue to carry out esports activities by following the Government’s instructions. This activity is not only work from home but more accurately called active from home. I received information from the General Chairperson of IESPA, Mr. Eddy Lim, registration for the first week has reached -/+ 2000 gamers who have registered as participants in the online tournament, and I believe it will continue to grow. No other words but I must say you gamers kerrren.
Continue physical distancing, wash hands, wear masks and stay healthy and improve fitness with exercise and healthy food. With the above spirit, we believe that the Covid-19 storm will pass quickly.
Happy competing !” said Mr. Hayono Isman, general chairman of the National FORMI (Federation of Recreational Sports-Indonesian Society)
