MPL ID Season 6 Will Apply New Format of Ban 5 Hero
Approaching the start of the MPL ID Season 6 tournament, the match system will be undergoing an update. Moonton as the developer who is also the organizer of the tournament wants a game that is more competitive and enjoyable to watch again. Therefore, they will change the format of the hero tires from 3 to 5 for each team.
The information was leaked by one of the professional players Mobile Legends namely RRQ Xin in her streaming session on NonoLive yesterday with BTR Kyy. Similar information was also leaked by one of the streamers Mobile Legends from the Philippines. In addition, the organizers of MPL Malaysia/Singapore also officially announced that the next tournament will use the 5 hero tire format. Making the issue of the 5 hero tire format really going to be applied to this MPL Season performance.
With the new format, of course, the tournament will become even more competitive. Each team is challenged to create new game strategies in dealing with their opponents. The heroes that will be used by players will also vary because now a total of 10 heroes will be banned in each game.
Another reason for using the 5 hero tire format from Moonton is also because more and more new heroes have been released. Moreover, there are some heroes who look too overpower (strong) when played and make the game monotonous and unattractive to watch.
We’ll see if the 5 hero tire format will actually be used in MPL ID Season 6 which will start on 14 August and we’ll just have to wait for new strategies that will be shown by the teams that competed in MPL ID Season 6 with the format 5 hero tires applied.
