Nintendo Reportedly Cancels Netflix's Zelda Live Action Project
Recently, Netflix seems to be in the mood to work on a series or film adapted from a video game. Just say it Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed, Tomb Raider, and most recently Sonic. Turns out, Netlfix is also almost working on a live-action series The Legends of Zelda. A project that should be welcomed when it happens. Unfortunately, the project ended with a cancellation that came from Nintendo itself.
Reported from Eurogamer, Nintendo and Netflix had worked together to work on a serial project claymation from Star Fox and Zelda simultaneously in 2021. But then both these projects were canceled by Nintendo after someone from Netflix allegedly leaked it. Nintendo, who learned about the leak of this project, was furious and then canceled both projects.

News about the live action series Legend of Zelda from Netflix made headlines in 2021. Someone familiar with the project told WSJ that Netflix will be introducing a new series that is considered a “Game of Thrones for family viewers.” But with a story that will follow Link’s adventures to save Princess Zelda and the land of Hyrule.
What do you think? Even though if it doesn’t leak, it’s possible that this Zelda live action project can already be broadcast and we will see it in 2021.
