Nintendo will focus on working on a new franchise in the future
Nintendo is arguably too comfortable with their current franchises. Even though the gaming era is growing, they still revolve around existing works. For some gamers, Nintendo seems to make less effort to create new works that have long franchise potential. They are considered to only take care of their popular franchises such as Mario, Zelda, Pokemon and others.

Now they have realized it and are trying to change the mindset of what Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said. In a recent interview with Nikkei, Nintendo said through its president that in order to stay competitive, they will focus on creating newer native IPs in the future. Of course Nintendo will continue to invest in existing franchises such as Mario and Zelda.
Unfortunately, when it comes to “Switch Pro”, Shuntaro Furukawa doesn’t seem interested in talking about it. It looks like Nintendo is still not ready to announce the new Switch model that fans are currently waiting for.
It’s interesting to see how in the future, Nintendo will really focus on the new IP. Looking at the new model for the Switch in the future, the chances of all of this are quite visible and can be realized.
