Over 35 Years, Nintendo's Consoles Have Sold 700 Million Units


Nintendo DS is still a popular console among other Nintendo consoles.

1983 Nintendo started selling their gaming system for the first time and became one of the gaming companies that took part in the game market. According to a report from GameIndustry.biz, during those 35 years Nintendo managed to sell 700 units of its game consoles, consisting of 300.54 million units of home consoles and 427.11 million units of handheld consoles.

For the most popular console with the most sales is Nintendo DS which successfully sold 154.02 million units, then there are GameCube with sales of 27.72 million units, followed by Switch, which has sold 19.67 million units. To Switch itself seems to still be able to continue to grow.
