Patch 4 Baldur's Gate 3 Will Release Soon
It doesn’t feel like Baldur’s Gate 3 has entered the age of four months, this game is quite popular and even entered the popular game category on Steam last year. Not satisfied with that, Larian Studios as the developer of this game continues to update to maintain the popularity of the game.

Patch 4 Baldur’s Gate 3
Larian Studios will officially announce the latest patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 via the streaming panel of Hell 2 on February 17th. The stream will feature Dungeons & Dragons main rule designer Jeremy Crawford, Creative Director Swen Vincke and guests Nick Pechenin, David Walgrave, and more.
Starting next week they will publish any updates that will be present in this patch. But for sure Patch 4 will be so big and will make so many changes, Larian said that it can’t be made compatible with Patch 3 version.
Patch 3 files will be deleted
Because patch 4 is not compatible with patch 3, the player save files on patch 3 will be deleted and all Baldur’s Gate 3 players updating to Patch 4 will have to start their game from scratch. But you can solve this problem easily, you just need to do the following steps:
- Right click on the game in your Steam Library
- Select property
- Click the BETA tab
- In the list under “Select the beta you want to join”, select patch3
- Close properties menu
So you can decide whether you want to return the fourth patch or still want to play the previous patch. make sure to disable automatic updates of your game before the patch arrives.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available on PC for IDR 699,999 as an Early Access game. There is currently no information on when the full version of the game will be released, and whether it will launch on other platforms such as consoles or not.
