Rawson Marshall Thurber Directs Film Adaptation The Division

After being left by David Leitch, the film adaptation of The Division finally managed to find a new director. He is Rawson Marshall Thurber who has done a lot of big movies.

Later, Rawson will replace David, who has left the chair of director of The Division.

About The Division’s Film Adaptation

According to information, the film The Division is set in the future when the virus has spread through paper money. These viruses spread when Black Day takes place in New York. After the virus spreads, the entire community is trained to survive in the face of disaster.

In addition to the director, Ubisoft has also found out who will fill the role in the film. Some of the actors and actresses who will appear in the film adaptation of The Division are Jake Gyllenhall (Spider-Man Far From Home, Life, and Stronger). Meanwhile, the participating actresses are Jessica Chastain (It Chapter Two, Ava, and Miss Julie).

Unfortunately, there is no certainty which role they will take. The reason is, Ubisoft still hasn’t announced this until now. Rawson Marshall Thurber is a 1975-born film director from California, United States. He started to enter the film industry right in 2004 when he handled DoggeBall: A True Underdog Story. After the film, he participated in the making of The Mysteries of Pittsburgh in 2008.

Rawson’s name began to rise when he became the director of Skyscraper, starring The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson. For now, Rawson is also working on one of his newest films, entitled Red Notice, whose release date has not yet been announced.
