According to Diachenko’s report on his LinkedIn account. A configuration error that occurred on the Razer website resulted in the disclosure of order details from thousands of transactions at Razer digital stores. Thousands of personal data of Razer customers are known to appear on public search engines. But Razer confirmed that it had resolved this issue on September 9, 2021.

Diachenko also explained that there is information about the goods ordered, the customer’s name, telephone number, delivery and email address. But Razer later confirmed that data about credit cards, passwords or other sensitive data did not leak onto the internet.

Thousands of leaked Razer customer data can also be exploited by bad people by making phishing attacks. Where they will convince customers that it is a warning from Razer. Then it will direct them to click on a malicious link or download malware to the customer’s device.
