Valve Disqualifies Zeus Gaming From Bucharest Minor For SEA Qualifier Position
Because Zeus Gaming contains players who are original citizens of China.
Zeus Gaming who became a professional Dota 2 team and competed for The Bucharest Minor, had to be disqualified because of citizenship issues. Zeus Gaming, which was supposed to contain players from the Malaysian region, was actually played by players from China. And this makes Valve annull their victory over WG.Unity.
Zeus Gaming has been disqualified from the SEA Open Qualifiers. They are a Chinese team that were inappropriately competing for a SEA slot. WG Unity will face off against 4SGK in a BO3 to determine the team that moves on to the SEA closed qualifiers.

Many people say that this is Valve’s fault for not providing written regulations that require team players to come from countries with the same team region. This is what makes some Reddit readers feel that Valve doesn’t good in dealing with such matters.
The Bucharest Minor is Dota 2’s first Minor event, which rewards money and also DPC(Dota Pro Circuit Point) that can be collected to qualify for The International event. This Bucharest Minor will be held in Bucharest, Rome on 9 – 13 January 2021.
