WWE 2K22 Won't Launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X!

Right at the Wrestlemania 37 event recently, 2K Games has officially announced the presence of WWE 2K22. After previously they had decided not to present WWE 2K21 due to various obstacles in the game. The announcement itself comes with a short video teaser.

The short teaser trailer does not provide many details regarding the game. However, the trailer shows the action of two WWE superstars such as Rey Mysterio and Cesaro. We can also see the graphics that 2k Games is trying to offer from the game.

WWE 2K22 is not for next-gen

Of course it looks very different from the previous series, which does offer next-gen charm in it. Most likely this one game will be released this year too, without a definite release date. Even though it offers next-gen charm, news has emerged saying that this one game will not go to next-gen consoles.

This rumor itself originated from a Twitter post from ItzPHSavageWolf. They claim that they saw an advert for WWE 2K22 which confirmed that the game would only be releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. They say that the WWE 2K22 teaser trailer posted by the PlayStation Youtube Channel was originally labeled for the PS5.

Launching this year?

However, for various reasons it was later changed to PlayStation 4. Until now, 2K Games has not given any response regarding these rumors. They also haven’t stated which platform WWE 2K22 will go to when it releases. WWE 2022 itself is rumored to be ready to launch this year as well.

It is also possible that this one game will launch in 2022 for various reasons, including which platform the game will launch on. What is your opinion about this? Give your feedback.
