After PUBG, Now Mobile Legends That Are Allegedly Haram to Play?
GridGames.ID – On 19 June 2021, the Aceh Ulama Consultative Council (MPU) issued a fatwa to prohibit the game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG.
Not only PUBG, Mobile Legends and similar games are also forbidden. Whoops!
The fatwa was issued after conducting an in-depth study and hearing with Information and Technology (IT) experts, psychologists and Islamic Fiqh during the third plenary session of Ulama in 2021 for two days.

“The Aceh MPU has issued a fatwa for playing PUBG games and the like, which is illegal in Aceh,” said Deputy Chairperson of the Aceh MPU, Tgk Faisal Ali, quoted by GridGames from Kompas.com.
The consideration of the Aceh MPU to issue a haram fatwa against PUBG games and the like is due to the results of expert and expert studies, that online games can change behavior and interfere with health.
“The results of the study that addicted to playing PUBG games and the like are very emotional, children who are prohibited by their parents get angry quickly and fight back. If they already have a wife when they are prohibited, they are also angry with their wives,” he said.
MPU Aceh hopes for the government to make efforts to block PUBG game content and the like, after issuing a fatwa against PUBG and the like.
