GridGames.ID – Angered at being banned from playing PUBG by his parents, a 16-year-old boy hanged himself earlier this week.

The victim was identified as Kallakuri Sambashiva, a resident of the Malkajgiri area, Hyderabad, India.

Kallakuri is a 10th grader at Gauthami school. While his father K Bharath Raj (45) is a priest.

On Tuesday (1/4), Bharat Raj reported to the police about his son’s suicide in his bedroom.

He said Kallakuri killed himself on Monday night after his mother, Umadevi, banned him from playing PlayerUnkonwn’s Battleground Mobile or PUBG Mobile.

“Kallakuri used to play PUBG on his cellphone and my wife, Umadevi, forbade him to play on Monday nights,” said Bharath Raj.

“Forbidden by his mother, my son got angry and hanged himself in his room,” Bharat Raj added in his report to the police.

Local police officer K Sanjeeva Reddy said Kallakuri used to use his parents’ cell phones to play PUBG Mobile.
