Sports Esports Returns to SEA Games 2021, Will PUBG Mobile Be Competed?
GridGames.ID – It has been confirmed that esports will be competed at the 2021 SEA Games.
This news has been officially announced by The Southeast Asian Games Federation and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, which is the host country.
However, there is no certainty what games will be competed at next year’s SEA Games.
However, many speculated that PUBG Mobile might enter to replace or add to the esports sport being competed in.

Since 2021, esports has been present and officially competed at the SEA GAMES 2021 Philippines.
There are 6 (six) kinds of online games that are competed, among others, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, Dota 2, Tekken 7, Starcraft and Hearthstone.
But unfortunately, at that time, the Indonesian esports contingent failed to bring gold and only managed to bring home two silver medals from Mobile Legends and Arena of Valor (AOV).

Seeing the achievements of the Indonesian team in various PUBG Mobile competitions, the opportunity to get a gold medal will be very large at the event which will be held in November 2021.
