Buy Bethesda, Microsoft Says Some Games Will Only Be Exclusive On Xbox One and PC

Different from the previous generation of consoles, we have seen that Microsoft is starting to put a serious focus on bringing fierce competition through the Xbox Series X. In addition to offering access to the Xbox Game Pass service which is increasingly tempting and attracts the attention of more new users, they have even taken a big step by doing acquisition of the company ZeniMax Media as the owner of Bethesda Softworks.

After going through a series of negotiations and a long process, Microsoft finally announced that their acquisition of ZeniMax has been completed and they are now the official owners of the company. It must be admitted that this strategy gives Microsoft, especially the Xbox brand, more selling points to attract the attention of gamers, especially from the possibility that some Bethesda games will only be available exclusively on the Xbox and PC platforms.

The fan’s guess turned out to be right on target, where Phil Spencer, who is the leader of Xbox, confirmed that there are several Bethesda games that will only be available for Xbox and PC. This means that The Elder Scrolls VI, Starfield, or other giant game titles prepared by Bethesda will not make it to the PlayStation or Nintendo Switch platforms.

Regardless of what kind of response fans give, we can see that Microsoft and Xbox are really serious about bringing tough competition to the gaming industry. The position of Xbox which was previously not so dominant, especially in Asian countries, may be increasingly recognized in the future. The acquisition of game companies like this is also quite normal in the gaming industry, where the PlayStation and Nintendo have also done it several times even though they do not have the financial support of Microsoft.

So what do you think about this news? Do you feel normal or maybe you mind if Bethesda games will only be available on Xbox and PC?
