TOP 10 Player Build Season 18 - Lancelot
This week we will discuss the first build assassin in this Top 10 series, Lancelot. Although previously we discussed Kadita https://gamerwk.com/top-10-player-builds-s17-kadita/ and Yi Sun-Shin https://gamerwk.com/top-10-player-builds-season-17 -yi-sun-shin/ last season, assassin was not their main role.
Lancelot is one of the oldest heroes in Mobile Legends, because he was released in October 2017. Therefore, Lancelot’s skills are not too complicated and do not have synergy at a glance. As an assassin, Lancelot’s job is to find an opponent who has HP below the total combo of all his skills and then run it properly. His passive skill, Soul Cutter, reduces the opponent’s Defense by dropping their armor using ordinary attacks. Opponents can reclaim their armor to restore their Defense. This skill basically gives Lancelot a damage boost but has counterplay for his opponent.
All other skills give him damage and survivability. His first skill, Puncture, gives Lancelot the ability to jump from unit to unit to give him a better position. Thorned Rose, his second skill attacks the opponent from three sides and gives Lancelot a few seconds invulnerability. Lastly, his ultimate skill Phantom Execution gives him high burst damage after a short wait, and also gives him additional mobility.

Seven out of ten Lancelot players on this list already use the exact same build, except for the shoe selection and item order. This build uses Raptor Machete, Blade of the Heptaseas, Blade of Despair, Endless Battle, and Queen’s Wings. For shoe choices, players are divided in choosing Warrior Boots, Magic Shoes, and Tough Boots.
Of the three players who didn’t use this entire build, two used three of the five items, while the last player used four. Most likely they choose other items as a personal choice.
Outside of item selection, the choice of spells for Lancelot is also clear. Eight people used Retribution to kill monsters. If you don’t want to use this spell, Execute is the second option.
