Update 1.3 in Genshin Impact has brought a wave of hype that feels even stronger, especially with the confirmation of the presence of the latest *5 Star character Hu Tao. Welcoming the arrival of this highly anticipated character, Mihoyo has prepared a series of new content and events that come with him. The second phase of Update 1.3 will start tomorrow, so make sure to prepare yourself and save your Primogem.

To give you a clearer picture of the content of Update 1.3 Phase 2, here we have summarized it below:

Event Wish “Moment of Bloom”

The new character banner this time will finally feature Hu Tao. He is the newest *5 Star character with Fire element Vision as well as a Polearm weapon user. The playing style he has shown so far seems quite unique, where Hu Tao gets a high power boost when his HP is in a low position. He even has his own unique skills such as Specter mode that can be used to penetrate the enemy’s body.

Besides Hu Tao, this banner also provides boost drops for three *4 Star characters, namely Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Chongyun. The Wish Event “Moment of Bloom” itself is available starting March 2 tomorrow at 18:00 until March 16 at 14:59.

Story Quest – “Papilio Charontis”

The presence of new *5 Star characters is always accompanied by new Story Quests as well. Players will be able to follow story missions that focus on the figure of Hu Tao in Genshin Impact. However, before being able to access this Story Quest, players must have reached Adventure Rank 40 and completed Archon Quest Chapter 1: Act II “Farewell, Archaic Lord”.

Expedition Event – “Vishaps and Where to Find Them”

There is also a new event which this time focuses on Expedition activities. So during the course of the event, players can send unused characters in their squad to investigate Geovishap-controlled places. There will be a variety of interesting rewards distributed starting from Primogem, Mora, and many more. This event can be accessed from March 5 at 04:00 to March 12 at 03:59.
