Ahead of Release, Mobile RPG 'NieR: Re[in]carnation' Share a Myriad of New Details!

Expanding the game franchise by releasing a mobile version is a very common practice in the industry today. This is especially dominant in Asian countries such as Japan, where almost all popular game franchises must have special mobile games to attract the attention of more gamers. Square Enix is one of those who have taken this opportunity more maturely, as they have been preparing for the release of the mobile game NieR: Re[in]carnation that looks very promising.

Aside from the visuals that look stunning, this game also still brings many of the strongest elements of the NieR franchise itself, one of which includes the incredible soundtrack selection. Now ahead of its release which is only a day away in Japan, Square Enix has finally returned to share a myriad of new details from the game. First, they presented gameplay videos to minigame shooting through their newest presentation, which you can see below:

Square Enix announced that since the opening of its pre-registration stage, NieR: Re[in]carnation has managed to attract as many as 957,420 registered players. A very fantastic number indeed, especially considering that this game will only be released in Japan. A few weeks ago Square Enix also showed off a cool opening video which you can watch below:

As a surprise for the game server opening on February 18th, there will be a special collaboration event with NieR: Automata. Players will be presented with various login prizes including the “Emil Head” weapon. This event features 2B, 9S, and A2 collaboration costumes that can be obtained through gacha which is available until February 31.

The new story quests in the collaboration event also give players the opportunity to earn medals. Later, all the medals that have been collected can be exchanged for various attractive rewards, including exclusive items that are only available in this collaboration.

If you’re curious about the game, NieR: Re[in]carnation will be released on mobile (Android and iOS) on February 18th tomorrow. You can play it for free, but this release is only for the Japanese region. But players in the west can breathe a sigh of relief, because the global release has been confirmed to follow soon.
