Alter Ego Wins Valorant AMD Adrenaline Invitational
The AMD Valorant Adrenaline tournament, supported by AsRock and organized by Ligagame, reached its peak on Thursday (18/3). In the final day match, AE managed to beat Bigetron and met Onic in the grand final. In a match with a best of five (BO 5) system, Alter Ego managed to wrap up the victory with a score of 3-1.
Alter Ego’s journey in the AMD Valorant Adrenaline tournament can be said to be like a roller coaster. They lost in the opening match of the main event to Onic Espots so they continued their journey in the lower bracket. AE Tehbotol, Frizznatzs and 3nable then faced off against XCN and then Bigetron Astro.
Meanwhile Onic showed good performance in the AMD Adrenaline tournament since the initial party of the main event. After defeating Alter Ego, they eliminated XCN and Bigetron Astro with a score of 2-0 each. Onic vs Bigetron is one of the most anticipated parties. The reason is, Bigetron played the best in the previous party when he managed to eliminate NXL Ligagame. Actions from BTR xoxo, Fw , fatpenguin, famouzy, nayy , btr_dugongya and Cud who are on fire. However, Onic managed to prove his superiority and advance to the final.
As fate would have it, Onic meets Alter Ego again in the final. The battle was fierce and both teams chased each other with a score of 5-5. Onic who appeared confident managed to lead 13-8 and closed the first match 1-0 . However, Alter Ego managed to get up and play tactical so that they won the second round with a score of 13-9 and equalized 1-1.
Entering the third round the Alter Ego again showed its consistency. After being behind 2-3, but they shot to win round by round until leading 7-5 in the half round. As if reaching a positive moment in the third round, Alter Ego played more neatly and tactically in the fourth round. Meanwhile Onic is in a corner because he has to win to force the next round. The “yellow hedgehog” team gave fierce resistance but was finally forced to give up 8-13 and ALter Ego successfully closed the victory with a score of 3-1.
