Asus Releases Compact, But Powerful Strix GL502

Asus just announced a laptop gaming compact that is quite thin and comes with a 15.6-inch screen. However, don’t be fooled by its appearance which may seem frail because what is embedded in it is quite powerful.

ROG Strix GL502 offers a Core i7 Skylake CPU with a graphics solution from the Nvidia GTX 980M with 4GB RAM or 8GB GDDR5 video. The 15.6-inch screen is also equipped with IPS andwide viewing angles. You also get a choice of a non-flickering 1080p or 4K screen when it comes to resolution. The memory system itself can be increased up to 32GB and for storage is available up to 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD. Notebook Asus itself also looks neat by using black as the base color and orange lines and WASD orange keys. Its thickness is only 23.5 millimeters.

Strix GL502 can also stay cool due to its design dual thermal which has a copper heat pipe as well as a pair of fans to cool the CPU and GPU separately. Plus, if you choose the best graphics option, the GTX 980M, you’ll get Nvidia G-Sync technology built into the notebook This prevents damage to the fluid frame rates.
