BANDAI NAMCO Announces New Digimon Game For Mobile Devices Titled Digimon Realize

It is undeniable, that one of the most famous Digimon video game series is Digimon World. The good news, it looks like you will feel the same sensation as the series, but with a different title and can be played on mobile devices.

Reported from Ryokutya2089 (via Gematsu), the latest issue of V-Jump magazine has revealed the latest Digimon game for Android and iOS devices entitled Digimon Realize. The game seems to have a concept “friendship evolution RPG”. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, who was the character design for the Dragon Ball Z anime, was appointed to this project.

In the Digimon Realize game, players will strengthen friendships with Digimon in Digi-Town and around Digital World. However, all of that will not be as easy as imagined, there will be a threat that disturbs the real world and Digital World. Although it has not been revealed in more detail what the gameplay of the game will be, it looks like Digimon Realize will have a gameplay mechanism similar to the Digimon World series.

Digimon Realize is scheduled to be released in 2018.
