Cloud9 Team Will Replace OpTic Gaming Team In DreamHack Masters Malmö . Tournament

The OpTic Gaming team’s decision to reshuffle their roster and move regionally made them have to give up the DreamHack Masters Malmö tournament which decided to replace them with the Cloud9 team.

Recently, the OpTic Gaming team made a dramatic change by changing their entire roster and only keeping 1 player, scar “mixwell” Cañellas. Because of this decision, Dreamhack stated that the invitation they gave to the OpTic Gaming team was no longer valid because most of the invited team roster was no longer in the team.

The OpTic Gaming team then recruited a solid NiP player, namely Adam “friberg” Friberg and he was trusted to be the team captain, then Friberg would meet again with his former partner at NiP, namely Aleksi “allu” Jalli. Then there is Emil “Magisk” Reif who will join the North team. The last 1 position is still unknown who will occupy but according to the news, a player from the PENTA team, namely Kevin “HS” Tarn who will be recruited.

For the Cloud9 team, this will be their first tournament after the roster changes they made by recruiting Tarik “tarik” Celik and Will “RUSH” Wierzba from OpTic Gaming to replace their 2 veteran players namely Mike “shroud” Grzesiek and Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert .

The DreamHack Masters Malmö tournament will run from 30 August 2017 to 3 September 2017 at the Malmö Arena. The tournament will feature 16 teams who will battle it out for a total prize pool of $250,000. The following teams are participating in the DreamHack Masters Malmö tournament:
