Confirm! The International 10 Held at Arena Nationala, Romania In October 2021
Valve has finally announced The International 10 will be held in Bucharest, Romania. In addition to the new venue, The International 10 will also be pushed back from its original schedule on 5-15 August to 7-17 October 2021.
The announcement was made in a blog post titled “Announcing New Locations and Dates for the International Championship – Dota 2,” Valve stated that TI10 will be held this October in Bucharest, Romania at the country’s largest stadium — Arena Nationala. According to the latest information, TI10 will be able to be attended by spectators to watch the match live.
“We are grateful for the partnerships we have formed with Romania and the city of Bucharest, and are looking forward to getting together with the global Dota 2 community, both in person and virtually, to celebrate elite players and the incredible fandom at The International.”

Previously TI10 was scheduled to take place in Stockholm, Sweden but that plan had to be stymied due to the Swedish government’s policy to classify the tournament as an elite sporting event.
For the first time since International 2011, The International will be held in Europe. After TI1 in Cologne, Germany, the next 6 TIs from TI2 to TI7 were held in Seattle. TI8 takes place in Vancouver, Canada. In 2019, TI9 moved from North America to Shanghai where it was held at the Mercedes Benz Arena.

Group Stage:
The International Group Stage 10 will be held on 7-10 October 2021.
Main stage:
The International 10 Playoffs will be held on 12-17 October 2021
Despite the delay, the TI10 and Nemestice Battlepass regional qualifiers remain unaffected by this announcement. It will be interesting to see if Valve decides to release another Battle Pass before the tournament or if they will just extend the newest Battle Pass already released.
