Days Gone PC Version Released Next Month, Will Present Better Graphics and Performance

Sony’s long-term plan to bring its exclusive games to the PC platform may sound unbelievable, but they are actually slowly realizing this plan. Following the release of Horizon Zero Dawn on PC which successfully brought in many new fans, now the second exclusive game that will also be released to the platform of a million people is Days Gone by Bend Studio.

Following its official announcement in February, yesterday the PlayStation shared more details of the PC version through a new trailer. This one-and-a-half minute trailer shows gameplay footage with highlights of various additional features to maximize the gaming experience. Various features offered by the PC version of Days Gone include resolution support for ultra-wide monitors, removal of framerate limitations, and improved graphics quality. The game performance on PlayStation 4 from the last time we played is quite stable and minimal problems, so hopefully this PC version can be optimized well, because Horizon Zero Dawn when it was released on PC for the first time was still filled with technical problems.

For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the game, Days Gone is an open-world survival game set in the Oregon countryside that has been haunted by a zombie virus outbreak. In this game you take on the role of Deacon St. John is trying to survive with his friend Boozer as a freelance bounty hunter. Even though it doesn’t get as high a reception as other PlayStation exclusive games, Days Gone still offers a very solid open-world experience and has its own uniqueness, such as the zombie horde mechanics that are very extreme and adrenaline pumping.

When is the Game Released?

For the release schedule, the PC version of Days Gone will be available on May 18 via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game itself is priced at USD 49.99 or around IDR 729 thousand.
