Demon Slayer's New Fighting Game Showcases Kyojuro Rengoku's Burning Action!
Developed as a game adaptation of one of the most popular shonen anime today, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan increasingly shows promising quality in each trailer. To complete the character roster that is growing every week, Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have finally released a new gameplay trailer for Demon Slayer Hinokami Keppuutan, this time focusing on the figure of Kyojuro Rengoku.
The pillar of fire which is seen as the main star and hero of the movie Mugen Train is presented very well. Movesets and fighting styles that rely on his fire breathing technique really look cool, especially the Ultimate technique at the end, namely Ninth Form: Rengoku. Instead of being curious, you can watch the gameplay trailer directly below:
Despite taking inspiration from Naruto Storm, it seems that the combo variations in this game are more limited, such as how the finisher animation at the end of the combo has so far only accommodated consecutive attacks, and unlike in Naruto Storm which has more than one variation.
The roster shown so far in Demon Slayer – Hinokami Keppuutan already includes many characters, including the three pillars who have shown their fighting action in the anime from Giyu, Shinobu to Rengoku. So the next roster of characters on display may focus on the Demon/Devil race such as Rui to Akaza. If the game ends successfully, it is possible that CyberConnect2 will follow the same pattern as Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, where the game series continues to follow the progress of the anime until the end.
When is the Game Released?
