Fable Series Now Continues to Fable Fortune, a CCG Game

This indie developer is apparently preparing a kickstart or crowdfunding project for the latest game from the Fable series, Fable Fortune.

Flaming Fowl itself may sound foreign to your ears but the founder of this game studio turned out to be a former member of Lionhead Studios, which is famous for the Fable series. So it’s no wonder that Flaming Fowl continued the work of Lionhead, which was interrupted because the company had to close.

Fable Fortune itself is a game that is arguably the successor to the Fable series, and of course a gift for fans. Flaming Fowl stated that this game is not an ordinary CCG game or Collectible Card Game, but rather special because there are a few Role Playing Game elements inserted in this card game. In addition to collecting cards, you can also complete story mode or a kind of campaign mode which turns out to have its own storyline where later, as is typical in the Fable game series, you will have to choose the choice of being evil or good.

In addition, later you can also play in co-op or multiplayer with other players online of course. And there’s more Player versus Player or PvP battles. Flaming Fowl itself promises that even though this game is in the CCG genre, it will not lose the characteristics of the Fable series that we already know about the Action Role Playing Game genre.

The kickstart project for the Fable Fortune game itself is planned to take off today. And after the funds collected are sufficient, the Flaming Fowl will hold a series of trials against this Fable Fortune. The Closed Beta stage of this game will start immediately after the kickstart project has successfully raised funds. And the open beta stage is scheduled to be held at the end of this year. And Fable Fortune is planned to be released for PC and Xbox One consoles. The target that needs to be achieved by the Fable Fortune kickstart project itself is quite large, which is around 366 thousand USD.
