FANTASIAN, Unique JRPG Game from Final Fantasy Creators Share New Details

Hironobu Sakaguchi, who is the father or creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, is still actively working in the game industry. After leaving Square Enix and officially forming his new game company called Mistwalker, now Sakaguchi has been involved in a very interesting new project, Fantasian.

Following the sharing of new details a few weeks ago, Mistwalker has recently shared three new videos featuring the recording process for the “Kina’s Theme” soundtrack, an interview with renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu, and a solo piano video featuring cool artwork by illustrator Takatoshi Goto.

Instead of being curious, you can immediately watch the three videos below:

The latest preview article from Famitsu media also shares interesting pieces of information that Fantasian will be released in two parts. The good news is that the second part of the game will still be released after mid-2021, so players won’t have to wait long to continue their adventure. The total game time for each part has been confirmed to range from 20 to 30 hours.

Fantasy itself tells the story of a young man named Leo, who one day wakes up in a mysterious place and loses almost all of his memories. This is where Leo’s adventure to reclaim his lost memories begins, where during his journey he will encounter many mysteries and conflicts from mechanical technology infections that are increasingly threatening mankind.

When is the Game Released?

Although it has shared a lot of new information, unfortunately, Mistwalker has not been able to provide information about the exact release schedule. But at least players already know that Fantasian will be released exclusively for Apple Arcade in 2021 this. Because it is a fairly ambitious JRPG project, it is not impossible that the game will also be released on more platforms.
