Ahead of Release, Bravely Default II Shares Lots of Latest Details!
Fans of any JRPG genre must be familiar with the name Bravely Default. Despite its status which is only available exclusively on Nintendo, this franchise still manages to gain high popularity and continues to attract new fans year after year. Now with the announcement of the new sequel Bravely Default II, Square Enix is ready to take fans on a thrilling new adventure.
While raising enthusiasm ahead of the game’s release, Square Enix recently shared a myriad of new details. These details summarize the introduction of new characters to the various gameplay systems that Bravely Default II has to offer. The new characters introduced this time are Adamas Holograd, Maddock Lonsdale, Mora, and Vishnu Isaac. These four characters are formidable antagonists that Seth and his friends will face in their adventures in the land of Excillant.
The latest details this time also introduces four new jobs that players can choose for each party member. The four jobs include Bastion, Phantom, Arcanist, and Hellblade, each of which has its own special weapons and skills. Gameplay in Bravely Default II will be made more challenging through the “Counter” and “Jammer” systems. This is a system where high-level enemies can break your action on the battlefield. Counter is used to counter your attacks, while Jammer is used to block your actions when using items.
In addition, Bravely Default II also has a “Consecutive Battle” system. This system, which has been widely used in JRPG games, serves to attract enemies in the area around you to join the battle session. This will usually make the battle run longer with several phases, but the rewards and EXP gained will certainly be higher. It is also necessary to be aware that Consecutive Battle has risks, especially when you attract a more formidable enemy group.
