Fnatic becomes the first team to be invited to the ROG Masters Asian Tournament

The Malaysian team, Fnatic, became the first Dota 2 team to be invited to the ROG Masters Asian Tournament which will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 10-13 November. In the event that provides a prize pool of $150,000, apart from Dota 2, a CS:GO match will also be held.

The invitation of Fnatic to the ROG Masters Asian Tournament is not surprising, because we know this team is the Dota 2 team that has the highest success of all the other Malaysian teams in recent years. There is still one more team that gets a direct invitation to this tournament, the strongest candidate is MVP.P or a strong team from China.

Other competitors who may be invited include Team Faceless or WG.Unity, but these two teams failed to qualify for the SEA open qualifiers event. Fnatic is the strongest candidate to win this tournament, as we know this team recruited three new roster on 7 September yesterday.

The new Fnatic roster is Jimmy “DeMoN” Ho, Nico “eyyou” Barcelon and Marc Polo “Raven” Luis Fausto. The three of them join the remaining core players from Fnatic namely Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung and Chong Xin “Ohaiyo” Khoo. Mushi and Ohaiyo have been playing together since June 2015.
