Garena Releases Free Fire World Series (FFWS) International Tournament Schedule for 2021
Garena released the Free Fire international competitive calendar plan for 2021. In the official YouTube video Free Fire will return with the Free Fire World Series (FFWS). As we know, this tournament was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so it was finally filled with the Free Fire Continental Series.
The announcement also highlighted the number of viewers Free Fire achieved in 2020, plus the new branding of the World Series. You can see the full snippet in the video below:
The FF World Series will be split into two series throughout 2021, the first taking place April 24 – May 1 in Asia, and the second in November at an unknown location.
In the video, Garena hints that there will be another international tournament scheduled for July, namely Free Fire All Stars. The tournament will feature top professional players and influencers.

Free Fire’s first international tournament, “Free Fire World Cup 2019”, was attended by teams from 9 regions/regions, but in 2021 that number will increase to 16 regions! Bangladesh, Cambodia and the Philippines will be added as competitive regions, with a total of 16 regions in Free Fire’s official esports scene.
