GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon Presents Waifu Ninja Characters - Getsu Renge!

Although Konami’s good name for a decade has fallen due to business practices and bad treatment that culminated in the departure of Hideo Kojima, slowly but surely they have started to improve in a more positive direction. Behind some of their promising new game projects, one title that caught our attention the most was GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon. The game that has been announced since the Indie World Showcase event in April has now entered the Early Access stage on Steam, and coincidentally the developer has brought a new update as well.

For the update that just arrived some time ago, they have added various changes including the presence of a playable character named Getsu Renge. Regarding her character, Getsu Renge is a member of the Getsu clan who is recognized as the best female ninja and is known for her beauty. Different from Gestu Fuma, he has a more agile movement and can finish off enemies quickly. Getsu Renge’s agility certainly doesn’t seem to make him the most superior character, because his attack and defense strengths are actually weaker so players must be extra careful when faced with hordes of dangerous enemies.

GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon itself is a new sequel to the original series that was released in the Famicom era. The response from fans so far has been very positive, especially after they saw the beautiful traditional Japanese art style approach in the game. Both in terms of presentation and gameplay, it seems that the GuruGuru development team managed to mix it up very well.
