Gloria Union Ready to Re-release for Console and Mobile!

Sting Entertainment, which is one of the oldest Japanese RPG game developers, recently brought a new surprise. They will re-release the classic PSP game Gloria Union for Nintendo Switch and mobile consoles (Android and iOS). Titled Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition, the game offers a variety of new revamps. Some of these changes include better graphics quality, the addition of new features, and improvements in terms of gameplay.

The announcement, which was made via their official Twitter account, unfortunately doesn’t bring many additional details. However, Sting confirmed that this game will be released in 2021. As additional details, they will also open the game’s official website in 2021 which will certainly contain more new details.

Gloria Union Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition

Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean is a tactical RPG game that was released for the PSP in 2011. This game is a spin-off from the Yggdra Union series which still brings many similarities in terms of gameplay. Some of the similarities start from the card system, turn-based movements, and real-time union-based battles. Since this game has never been released other than in Japan, it will be very interesting if Sting will release the remastered version globally this time.

Incidentally, Sting is also collaborating with Aquaplus in another new game project, Dokapon UP! Roulette of Dreams. Combining Board Game and RPG gameplay, this game brings a series of characters from Sting’s other popular tactical RPG game series, Utawarerumono. The game happened to have been released in Japan on December 10 yesterday.

When is the Game Released?

So like the information above, Gloria Union: Twin Fates in Blue Ocean FHD Edition is planned to be released in 2021. For its own release platform, this game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS. Further information about the game will also follow next year along with the opening of the official website.
