Iconic JRPG Game Legend of Mana Adapted To Anime!

This weekend is a special moment for the Mana franchise, which celebrates its 30-year anniversary. As a form of celebration, Square Enix some time ago held a special livestream event that brought a variety of interesting surprises. One of the concerns is the announcement of an anime adaptation project for the classic Legend of Mana series which just happened to have the remastered version released last week.

The anime adaptation itself is titled Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal. This project involves a collaboration between Warner Bros. Japan, Studio Graphinica, and Yokohama Animation Lab. The remastered version of Legend of Mana happened to have an anime opening as well which was played at the beginning of the game. So maybe the opening is an illustration of the quality of animation that the anime will offer later.

The idea to make an anime adaptation of Legend of Mana was already discussed even before there was a plan to remaster the game. Masaru Oyamada as the producer of the Mana series was involved in discussions with Warner Bros. Japan who wants to realize the anime project. It was at that time that Oyamada finally wanted to revive the Legend of Mana so that the idea of ​​making a remaster could finally be realized.

No estimated broadcast schedule has been given yet, but Oyamada confirmed that the anime is done by a team that puts a strong love and passion in this classic series.
